EXCLUSIVE SERIES
for #WWB attendees

Picture
On May 9, 2018 and again on May 21, 2019 and October 1, 2020, hundreds of women and men attended #WhatWomenBring with emcee Octavia Mitchell, WCBD News 2 TV anchor, and a panel of women leaders who are changing the face of women in business across 10+ industries. The positive energy of the audience was incredible at all three events!

If you were unable to attend but wanted to, you might be interested in our #WWB email series. Each month, one of our honorees or headliner shares her perspective about how she succeeded despite the odds stacked against women and/or minorities, how you can succeed despite those odds, or something else close to her heart.

Every #WWB post has been inspirational and thought-provoking. To give you an idea, our inaugural 2018 #WWB editions included:

DR. RESHMA KHAN
2018 #WWB healthcare honoree
| How she overcame obstacles and followed her dream

MARY JO ROMEO
2018 #WWB professional svcs. honoree

CAROLYN MURRAY
2018 #WWB media honoree
| Why she abandoned her pursuit of career success... and what she traded it for

LATISHA VAUGHN
2018 #WWB education honoree

LAVANDA BROWN
2018 #WWB host

| Why she does the work of social justice, and how a simple children's song from her past still inspires her to keep up the fight

LAVANDA BROWN
2018 #WWB host

| In a special March edition, LaVanda announced our 2019 #WWB honorees and gave us the inside scoop

THE COCKTAIL BANDITS PART 2
