Our student spotlight for July 2019 is artist Victoria Johnson, a rising senior at Porter Gaud.
"I know it sounds cheesy, but art for me is like finding a new piece of myself," she says. "Every time I dig my fingers into a mound of clay, twist wires, paint until I'm not sure I'll ever get it out from under my fingernails, I find a new piece of myself. Art is my rock, my grounding place. Art continually and perpetually reminds me I'm infinite." Scroll down for some of Victoria's art!
