2024 MLK CELEBRATION

2024 REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. BREAKFAST SUMMIT

Area students are invited to participate in one of the longest-running and largest observances of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in the state of South Carolina. The MLK Breakfast Summit, co-sponsored by the City of Charleston and YWCA Greater Charleston, is a signature event of the celebration. The breakfast will bring together a diverse group of community, civic and clergy leaders, and a cross-section of tri-county citizens to honor and celebrate the dreams and vision of Dr. King.

Your school/organization is invited to submit the names of up to five (5) youth leaders who would find this experience rewarding.

Students are sponsored by the business community; there is no fee for their attendance.  The fee for each chaperone is $55.  Students and chaperones should plan to be seated by 7:15 AM.
